Chemistry in Aviation?

I'm about to start a project and I need to know what kind of chemistry is in your future career. I chose aviation...but I've done my research and I can't seem to find any chemisty. But the thing is I know that there is chemistry in aviation, especially environmental wise. I just need some suggestions. Some clues to what kind(s) of chemistry there is or even pointing me to some kind of direction that could help in my search. My e-mail and IM is available as well. Please, i'll take any help I can get. Thank you.

  1. Just a few examples of chemistry in aviation would be: The plastic polymers used to coat the aircraft and it's components. The fuel mixture and how it combusts within the engines The air density and how it relates to lift and flight plans The materials that make up the aircraft Alot of these are a mix of physics and chemistry, but at least it's a start. Use your imagination.
