  1. You have a degree in aviation but don't have your ticket started? Here in the states every aviation program I know if has an active flying portion. Maybe this isn't the case where you received your degree. I would also think your school would have some affiliation with a flying program? If not find the closest aviation training program (at an airport). Do some research on which one has the best success rates. Then start building hours. Most of the guys I know who didn't go into the military started doing "check runs" flying checks from rural banks over night. Hard work but money in your pocket and hours in your logs.
  2. What kind of "degree in aviation" do you have? Are we talking about a legitimate college or university degree, or just some kind of high school certificate? If you have a legitimate university degree, you should be smart enough to figure out the rest for yourself.
  3. My guess is, if youve really been studying aviation for the last few years... you would know where to start looking...
  4. local airport or Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, or Purdue also has one of the better cost wise training. You don't pay by the hour, but more by the "class" or license/rating you are going for. It's pretty good. Don't go to schools like ATP and stuff, i've known people who have gone through them, and say that it is REALLY unsafe, and there are inexperienced flight instructors. (for example, they were so desperate that they were asking anybody on myspace that wanted to be a CFI to join up beacuse they were short instructors...(inexperience...)
