how do i get a CAA aviation maintenance License?
In the U.S we use the FAA. In the U.K what do they us? and how can i get this License for aviation maintenance.

- well i'm going to school for that actually to get a A&P licence stands for Airframe and Powerplant just look for certifyed school around ur area if u wan i can give you some information about mine Gabriel

- Are you talking about the EASA licences? Are you electrical and avionics or mechanical (airframes, engines etc.)? What usually happens is the company or airline that you work for will pay you to take the tests and lessons perhaps one day a week. Its a relatively new thing, licenceing engineers over here. A lot of ex RAF, RN, and Army techs are all going for these licences and all they allow you to do is sign off on all the work carried out on the aircraft. Big pay rise though. The CAA does all the testing at certain places around the country. Gatwick being one. Once you pass your exams then you have to d a type specific course for what aircraft you are working on, a common one is the A319 or the 737.
