- I would suggest installing a radio and listening to the trafiic. You could even get a hand held radio as you are so close to the tower. It would be fun, no?
- UM - ARE U A TERRORIST? Just kidding - I live like 1 mile from the airport, and I have been trying for years to sound proof my house FROM the planes! My bro used to have airplane wall paper and made models to hang from the ceiling.
- you can go to sportys pilot shop and get a AM/FM radio that is also a scanning radio so you can hear the ATC. get a aviation Muriel painted in your room.
- My son likes to call my home office "the Airplane Room" because I have it decorated in that fashion. I have pictures of my father's airplanes, my airplane, a couple of old propellers hanging on the wall, models of famous aircraft, the spinner off of my old airplane, airplane wallpaper, and a few photos I have taken from the air. Use your imagination. Like someone said, go to www.sportys.com and go to the Wright Bros. catalog link. They offer lots of aviation stuff to decorate with like replica propellers, nose art, etc.
- How about a radio scanner to listen in on the transmissions between A/C and controllers? Or a Jeppesen Map of your locale?
- install rows of ugly seats from an aircraft leaving about 3 inches in between them and when guest come over seat them in those cramped uncomfortable seats....show them how to use a seat belt.. serve them pop and charge them $5 for a beer..
