What to do in Phoenix in the winter?

I'll be in Phoenix on business this winter and hope to tack some holiday time onto the end of it. What can a history buff like me (Old West, aviation and military history) find to do there?

  7. In East Phoenix, just a few miles north of the airport there's a Military Museum at the Papago Park Military Reservation. http://www.azguard.gov/Museum/MUSEUM.htm If you like a Western atmosphere and good steaks, try the Pinnacle Peak Patio in Scottsdale. http://www.pppatio.com/home/default.asp Or you can watch shootouts at Rawhide, sometimes they have bull riding to. http://www.rawhide.com/
  8. Not history -BUT- something to do: Zoolights at the phoenix zoo
  9. Winter in Phoenix is like summer in the rest of the world. The weather is around 70 so you can do anything.... It is the summer here that we have to stay inside for
