1. That's what I did. It's a good job but you might work more hours than others. Most get something out of it. It makes some worse...
2. Yes I'm a better person for being a Marine. Being a Marine never leaves you. The saying "once a Marine always a Marine", couldn't be more right on the money.
3. Life in the Marine Corps is what you make of it. Its tough but well worth it. I heard pretty good things about that mos, just a good piece of advice is to tell the recruiter before hand that you might want to try that out of else they will most likely stick with you an mos that you don't really like or wanted from the beginning.
4. The one thing I have never regretted was joining the Marines. It can make you a better person. It gives you lots of possibilities while in and after you have gotten out. That is a very good MOS, it is something you can use if you decide not to continue in the corps. Semper Fi and good luck!!!
5. It will make you grow up. It will be what you make of it. I saw the world for free, paid for college, and got to know some really great people from parts of the country I would have never met. Whether you do four or twenty, you will be a changed person afterwards. it is tough, and there will be time when you wonder why you joined, but, IMO, the positives outweigh the negatives by far. Once a Marine, Always a Marine. Good luck, and when in bootcamp, just remember, you will never do anything right or fast enough, even if you actually do. They will yell all the time, and most of the time you will never know why. Keep your head down, try to be anonymous, and you will get through it. If was in from 94-98. If it hasn't changed, there are 57 training days in bootcamp(sunday does not count). Basically, you count down the days once you start. Oh, and even if you don't want to, go to church, it is the one hour or so a week the DI's can't mess with you.
