  1. US Air force Scholarships or I found interesting information about your answer, college loans, scholarships, COLLEGE GRANTS & partime works here.http://all-student-loan-consolidation.blogspot.com/2007/07/grants-for-college.htmlGood luck!
  2. Paying for civilian flight training is usually the single most difficult hurdle you will have to overcome. Unfortunately, without being able to get a loan, it will be even more difficult. I have never heard of any grants for flight training, except for whirlygirls, but it's only for females. My recommendation is to look at the forums on the following websites. You can post your questions and get answers from helicopter pilots and students, and you may find someone there who has an alternative for you. I suggest Vertical Reference or "the alternate" at Just Helicopters for "newbies". http://www.verticalreference.com/ http://www.justhelicopters.com/home/jhforum.asp You might look into some of the resources posted by "Av8trxx" on this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aq7i4GHLyl0yH3OCoJhuEcXty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070701133902AAft6XS&show=7#profile-info-u7532iNeaa I wish I could be more helpful. Do as much homework as possible before proceding with your training. It is a long and hard road you have in front of you, so plan everything out carefully before you begin, talk to many pilots, and seek many sources of information. Good luck!
