- A ton
- http://www.flymcaa.org/ http://officer.marines.com/page/Officer-Specialty-Air.jsp mostly helicopters but the marines do have a few jets and other planes
- There are lots but you better have a good asvab score Airframes Avionics(electronics) NDI(non-destructive inspection) various types of turbine engine techs. The list goes on and on. Marine Aviation Maintenance is split between Intermediate level and Operational Level(I and O levels) I level is typically part of a logistic squadron and work on individual pieces of the aircraft and o -level is part of a flying squadron and work directly on the bird.
- If you mean for pilots there are four major platforms in Marine Corps aviation: helicopters, jets, maritime (C-130's) and tilt-rotors (Osprey). Within helos and jets there are many different aircraft to fly as well. Helo's - CH-53, Huey (UH-1), Cobra (AH-1), and Phrog (this is not a typo according to my husband) (CH-46) Jets - Hornet, Prowler, and Harrier And then there are all the maintainers and other support personnel that keep the birds in the air.
