Low time aviation jobs? I am just about to get my commercial pilot rating. I do have an instrument rating to. I will have just over 250 hours of flight time. Does anyone know where I can get a job using my commerical certificate with such low hours other than flight instructing? How do you find Aviation Electronic Tech Jobs in Wa state..?? Of course I am aware of internet search engines, which I post resumes, and send out resumes daily. More less what i am asking is how do you go about this kind of job search. I have 7 years training in this job from Navy, so i have never had to search before. Should i be researching companies and just going there and so on, should i be focusing on using a recruiter for job openings. what best method is the fastest method. i need a job asap, Unemployment isnt doing anything for my family..I need a good job to live like we did before we got out of military. How does a felony convection affect my ability to get a job in aviation? I was just recently convected of 3 counts of Breaking an Entering. Now there are 3 felonlys on my record. What are some good aviation schools? Has anyone heard of National Pilot Academy? I just found it on the internet yesterday and it has locations in nevada, utah, and arizona. It teaches you in a faster pace so you can get your license sooner and they help you with everything like financial aid and finding an apartment and get you good airline jobs or any jobs in aviation. I was just wondering if anyone heard of them or ever went there, I would like your input on them.
Other Jobs in Aviation? I am working as a member of ground crew for an Indian Airliner company. I find my job too stressful to work because of the extension of my shifts and other factors like high level of concentration in the work and handling of unhappy passengers. So I am planning to Quit the job. I would like to know about other job opportunities available in the airlines field. I have done a diploma in Air / Sea Cargo Management and Air Ticketing / Reservation. So i would like to get into another job in this field which not so stressful. I not planning to continue in this field for a long time because i am going to shift to the HR line in a few years from now (may be two years). Can you just help me. Is Associates in Aviation enough to get a job in Regional Airlines? I believe most of them do not require pilots to have any degree. Can I get Associates in Aviation and all the Pilot Ratings from Single to Multi Engine-instructor. Would that be enough to get a job in regional airlines? Hello, everyone- I'm a freshman in high school and I need to write a report on what type of job I would like to have when I would get older. I would like a job in aviation, as its interested me my entire life. The problem is that I don't want to be a pilot or an air traffic controller. I realised that I liked working on the ground with pilots, ground crews, baggage handlers, gate attendants, as well as customers. In short, I realised that instead of working on one single plane, I realised that I liked working at one specific airport, managing the people going in and out, whether it was working in immigration, or airline operations for one specific airline at one specific hub. Aviation School? If I go to a school of aviation, or flight school, and I get by bachelor's in aviation or aeronautical science. When I graduate, can I fly? In other words, do they only let some students fly and some other have to just get the degree and thats it? How does flight school and flying work? I am new to this and I know I need instrument ratings and airtime but do I get a normal degree? Is the flight time included in the cost of tuition or do I have to take private lessons? This school I am going to go to has airplanes at the campus and they have an airport so I would think that you get your ratings at the school AND a degree in aviation? It is a college. They stress that there are other jobs in aviation besides flying but that is the only one I want to do. Am I going to get sucked into this school just to be told I can't fly?
USMC Aviation Question? I'm an 18-year-old female, soon to be taking the ASVAB to enlist in the Marines. I took the practice test and scored an 80, which is apparently really good. I will take the oath of enlistment and officially enlist this Wednesday. Either tomorrow or the day after that, I'll be choosing my desired job. I want something in aviation.
